What Works
The biggest strength of War 2 is its lead pair—Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. Their chemistry is one of the most enjoyable parts of the film and keeps the audience hooked whenever they share the screen.
Kiara Advani also makes her mark, adding glamour and freshness to the film with her strong screen presence.
What Doesn’t Work
The movie struggles with a weak and predictable storyline. While it tries to be a thrilling spy drama, the plot feels thin and doesn’t offer many surprises.
Some action sequences look overly polished but lack real impact because of average visual effects. In a few scenes, the CGI looks unreal and takes away from the excitement.
Story Summary (Spoilers Ahead)
Kabir (Hrithik Roshan), a top intelligence agent, is seen as a threat to national security. RAW sends another skilled agent, Vikram (Jr NTR), to hunt him down. The twist? They are long-lost brothers. Kabir is not truly a traitor—his actions are part of a bigger plan to uncover a dangerous conspiracy.
Eventually, the brothers join forces to take down the real villain. While the idea sounds powerful, the emotional impact is not as strong as it could have been.
Audience Reactions
Fans celebrated Jr NTR’s first Hindi film with excitement, with early morning shows and big gatherings. Many praised the performances and star power, especially the bond between Hrithik and Jr NTR.
However, some viewers found the story predictable and felt the visual effects were not up to the mark, especially in the second half where the pace slows down.
Final Verdict
War 2 is a visual spectacle with superstar performances, big action scenes, and stylish presentation. But it misses the mark when it comes to storytelling and emotional depth.
If you love high-budget action and want to see two charismatic stars together, it’s worth watching. But if you expect a strong script and meaningful drama, you might be disappointed.
Best For:
- Fans of Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR
- Viewers who enjoy grand action sequences and glossy visuals
Not For:
- People looking for a tight, gripping story
- Viewers who dislike overdone CGI
