Introduction:
The Diplomat is a recent Hindi action thriller film. John Abraham plays a key role as a diplomat of the Indian embassy in Pakistan, and Sadiya kathib plays another key role as a Indian victim girl.
In recent years, many political biopic movies do not resemble the original story and turn the plot into something more vulnerable in the name of thrilling and false portrait. with the difference that this movie is simple and straight-forward and narrates with a realistic plot and no unnecessary moments and hypes.
Plot of the movie:
The move is based on true incident that happened in 2017, at that time Sushma Swaraj was the external affairs minister of india and in Islamabad, J.P. Singh was the Indian diplomat in the embassy. A 28 year old women got trapped by a pakisthani and believed to be engaged with the person and came to the pakisthan from India.
She was tortured and enslaved by them. After realizing and understand the situation, she approach the Indian embassy and explain her situation and ask to bring her back to india. The diplomat J.P.Singh take the responsible to help her and how much effort he did and how he negotiate with the strict laws, did they send her back? To know we should watch the movie.
Cast Performance
As diplomat Jhon Abraham, in the main role that is different kind which compare to the his previous movie, he is not use muscle and with intellectuals and ability of negotiation is too good portrayed.
Sadia performed good and blend the emotions of hopeless victim and shows the dramatic accent that strongly connected with audience.
Revathy acted well as Shuma Swaraj get positive vibes for the character. Other cast members do their best job and carry the movie to the success path.
Technical Performance
The film’s cinematography and artwork are its main advantages. It worked out well to recreate the Indian Embassy or to depict Pakistani surroundings inside India. The ambiance of the film was effectively set by the background music. The songs are also good.
Without significantly altering the plot for commercial gain, director Shivam Nair provided entertainment with straightforward feelings and attitudes. By using the actor in him and somewhat repressing John Abraham’s action image, he was able to attain half the success. Shivam Nair received positive reviews for his work as a director and storyteller overall.
Final verdict:
The Diplomat is one of the finest movies, which gives real aroma of the biopic and satisfy the viewers without any unrealistic credits. this movie is a gem for the Abraham and make blockbuster hit in industry.
